SUMMARY
In new construction or major renovations, foam insulation workers spray into exterior walls and attics before drywall, paneling, or plaster walls are put in place. Foam insulation workers generally work indoors and spend most of the workday on their feet, either standing, bending, or kneeling. Sometimes, they work from ladders or in tight spaces and often times they are in attics. Foam work is very dusty and dirty, and workers are required to wear protective gear for the mouth, N-95, and safety glasses. The summer heat and winter cold can make the insulation worker very uncomfortable. Temperatures range from 150 degrees Fahrenheit to 30 degrees Fahrenheit.
